This package is for the couple after my own heart! The outdoorsy, nature-loving, adventurers who have dreamed of giving their vows to each other atop a mountain peak. I am a hiking enthusiast who loves the thrill of reaching the peak after a good upward climb. In my free time, I’m often hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains with my husband and sons. For this reason, I’ve created the “Off-the-beaten-Path” Elopement package.
With this package, as your officiant, I’ll work with you to create a beautifully personal ceremony for you and your partner. Our work together will begin with an initial consultation where I’ll get to know you both and let you get to know me! From there, we’ll work together developing the text of your personal wedding ceremony.
The most exciting part of this package is the adventure we’ll go on together on the big day! I’ll of course help advise on location scouting if necessary, but on the big day, our time together will begin as early as need be to get to your desired elopement location.
*Note, even if you’re not particularly outdoorsy the other 364 days of the year, but you fancy yourself a mountain top picturesque ceremony, I’m here for that too!

Unlimited Consultations
I will meet with you in person (or hop on a phone call) to begin our work together and leading up to your big day, I’ll be available for unlimited consultations regarding your ceremony details!

Development of Ceremony
I’ll develop the personalized text of your wedding ceremony, to reflect your relationship. You’ll of course see the ceremony “script” ahead of time, to be sure all is what you have envisioned!

Day-of Traveling/Hiking & Officiate Ceremony
On the big day, we’ll meet at an agreed upon location to begin our trek to your desired elopement location. The timing of our meeting will be dependant on the expected trek time. Once we reach our location, I’ll perform the marriage ceremony!

Marriage License
After officiating your ceremony, I will complete legal paperwork. I’ll sign your marriage license along with your two witnesses and mail it to the Register of Deeds.
